GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The typical day will entail servicing customer homes within a route structure that could have up to 10 – 12 properties each day. Greeting the client if they are home, asking if they have any needs inside the home, explaining what the service will entail for them and how it will help keep their home free of household pest. Inspection of the property before treating to ensure that the correct products are applied to the home in correct areas. Sweeping around the homes windows, doors and lanai (if applicable). Searching for harmful pests such as Fire Ants in the yard and treating for them so customers do not get hurt when walking in the yard via bites. Taking photos and putting them into the account if something is suspect and needs to be brought to the customers attention. Placing a treatment placard in the front yard and entering all the information into the computer for each stop as the day progresses.

Answer phone calls from Office or Supervisory staff.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

1. Service Customer Base
2. Inspection of home to be serviced (exterior)

– provide photographic insights if concerns are found, via the service software.

3. Treat home and or property based upon service protocols established by company.
4. Sweep homes windows, doors and lanai areas for spiders and wasp nesting areas.
5. Become familiar with Product labels and how to use products entrusted to you for your use.
6. Maintain a clean and orderly service vehicle.
7. Always complete a 4 with 1 door hangar for neighbors adjacent to the home being serviced.
8. Offer additional services if conditions warrant a treatment or you have noticed a potential concern for the customer.

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Always have a neat and professional appearance, (uniform must be worn during duty hours)
2. Proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment that are entrusted to the technician. (Tire pressure, Oil Changes,

Washer Fluid)

3. Ensure that vehicles needing maintenance are brought to the supervisors attention.
4. Any and All damage must be reported to the supervisor as soon as it has been found. If caused by the employee an internal accident report must be completed by the employee.
5. Punctuality for appointments, if late must contact the client if a set time has been created.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

1. High School Diploma
2. GED

Experience:

1. No pest control experience . needed
2. Outdoor work experience- 1 year
3. Route service work -1 year

Other:

1. Must be Legal to work in the USA
2. Must be able to Speak, Read and Write in English.
3. Secondary language skills helpful
4. Basic understanding on how to use a computer and programs.
5. Must have a clean and verifiable Motor Vehicle History Report
6. Must be able to pass a background check
7. ** Drug Free Workplace ** no exceptions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to service 10-12 properties and walk their perimeter for your route each day. Must be able to lift 40-50 lb bags of product. Must be able to carry up to a 32 lb backpack while walking around a structure and applying product. Must be able to reach above your head with both arms. Must be able to bend over or crouch down to look under or in kitchen cabinets. Must be able to climb into attic spaces. Must be able to crawl under manufactured homes. Must be able to climb an “_A “_ frame ladder.
